Who We Are

Minigolf Pro is developed by Greenfield Studio. This policy explains how we collect and use data when you play Minigolf Pro.

Data We Collect

• Account data — email address and display name if you create an account.
• Game progress — scores, unlocked cosmetics, settings, and other gameplay state saved to your account.
• Community content — custom holes you publish, including your display name as the author.
• Usage analytics — gameplay event data (e.g. holes completed, features used), used to improve the game. This is off by default and only collected if you turn it on in Settings. Events are pseudonymous, not anonymous: each carries your account identifier, or a randomly generated one if you are playing as a guest. They are stored by us and, where enabled, by Firebase Analytics.
• Error and crash reports — always collected, including when analytics are off, because we cannot fix crashes we never see. These contain technical diagnostics and your account identifier. Any free text is scrubbed of email addresses, web addresses and file paths before it is sent.

Guest (anonymous) play does not ask for an email or display name, but it still creates an anonymous account and syncs your game progress to our servers. The difference is what we collect, not where it is stored. Because a guest account is tied to your browser or device, clearing your browser data may make that progress unrecoverable — linking an email preserves it.

How We Use Your Data

• Syncing your game progress across devices.
• Displaying your display name on holes you publish to the community.
• Improving the game based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising.

Third-Party Services

We use Google Firebase for authentication, cloud save, and analytics. Firebase is governed by Google's privacy policy.

Data Retention

Your account data is kept for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your saved progress and your leaderboard scores, anonymise the community holes you published, and remove your friends, friend requests, saved replays, recorded ghost runs, and the follows you created. If any step of that erasure fails, we stop and leave your account in place rather than deleting it half-finished, so you can try again.

Some records are not covered by that automatic process. These may keep your display name or an account identifier until we remove them by hand:

• comments you left on community holes, and playlists you published;
• tournament standings, which record the players in a bracket;
• moderation reports involving you, which we keep deliberately so that deleting an account cannot erase a record of abuse;
• duel challenges you sent or received, which record the display names of both players;
• multiplayer game invites, which record the sender’s display name and both players’ account identifiers;
• likes and reactions you left on other players’ holes, playlists and replays, and the room rosters of multiplayer matches you joined;
• event reward claims, which record that your account claimed a limited-time reward;
• a small number of older follow records created before July 2026, which are not always reachable by the automatic process;
• diagnostic and crash reports, which are stored until we remove them by hand.

If you want any of these removed, email us at the address below and we will erase them manually.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time.

• Delete your account — go to the account panel in-game and tap Delete Account & Data. This permanently erases your progress and anonymises your published holes.
• Data requests — email us at greenfieldstudiodev@gmail.com.

Children

Minigolf Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the game after changes constitutes acceptance.
