What you'll see and hear
A pirate's wreck lies broken on the sand, one lantern still burning in its rigging. Nearby a skeleton keeps watch over his treasure chest, while a ghost ship drifts silently across the surface overhead. Among the living fish swim the bones of those that never left. An anglerfish hunts with its glowing lure, pale ghost jellies pulse through the dark, the corals glow under the moon, and eyes watch from the cracks in the rocks.
This reef is a real-time 3D world by Greenfield Studio. The fish models were made with the help of generative AI. Every fish swims by its own behaviour, and the eerie soundscape (deep drones, a moaning current, the creak of old timber and distant whale song) is generated live as the film is recorded.
